Curt Devlin has his eyes set on fellow reporter Ellen Garfield - but she refuses to give him the time of day until he admits that she's as good a reporter as any man - but Curt's as stubborn as they come. Even after all she's accomplished, he won't give her the faintest hint of praise, and with the two of them working for rival newspapers, it's not long before the two start clashing with each other! Time and again, the reporting rivals attempt to one-up each other with increasingly incredible stories, culminating in a conclusion to the competition filled with twists, turns, and intrigue!
