Confession

Lisa Koslov is initially reluctant to accept the advances of her mysterious suitor, but at her friend's behest, accepts. Despite the strange beginnings, their relationship begins to blossom into something deeper, and slowly, she finds herself being seduced by him - until a fateful encounter in a seamy cabaret sees the man shot dead by Vera, the club's singer. It is not her immediate confession that strikes the court as strange, however - it is her unwillingness to provide them with a motive that captures their intrigue instead. And when a suitcase of hers is presented before the court, and she demands that all but those essential to the case are cleared from the room in exchange for the information they seek, the intrigue only deepens.
