Seven Keys to Baldpate

Billy Magee has no small amount of confidence in his talent as a novelist, and assures a friend of his that he can write a ten-thousand word story in twenty-four hours. Intrigued, Billy's wealthy friend decides to accept the wager, and the race is on - the novelist against the clock. Wanting to be isolated and allowed to concentrate, he retreats to a remote mountain resort, locks the door - to which he believes that he has the sole key, and begins to set to work on the piece. He quickly finds, however, that the bet is no simple matter, and that there's more to the lodge than he thought at first.
