Bullets or Ballots

Detective Johnny Blake's reputation as a tough, no-nonsense officer hell-bent on cracking down on racketeers is well-deserved - but it's not enough to save him from the brass' scheming, and he's kicked off of the force. Powerful crime boss Al Kruger sees an opportunity amidst it all, however, and hires on the erstwhile detective in an attempt to figure out new ways to sidestep the law and rake in more money. With a sharp eye and sharper mind - both honed by his years of experience cracking down on the same criminals he once fought against - Blake rises through the ranks... and draws the ire of some jealous rivals.
