Goodbye, Mr. Chips

Due to his strict and imposing nature, Mr Chippings is respected amongst those attending his classes - but is far from liked. Even his superiors do not give him the respect he deserves, with them passing over him when it comes to appointing a housemaster, despite his twenty years of service. It is only through his colleague inviting him to a holiday in Austria that he is pulled out of his despair - and it is through his meeting with the lively Kathy Ellis that he begins to change his ways. As the two grow closer, he finds himself a changed man... and one in love.
