A Christmas Carol

Charles Dickens's timeless Christmas story is brought to life by the stellar narration of Orson Welles, and the talents of actor Lionel Barrymore.
Welles and Barrymore recount the tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted miser living in Victorian London. Consumed by greed, his love of money far exceeds any love he has for his fellow man, with family and well-wishers spurned and his clerk only being allowed Christmas Day off to conform to social norms. However, the spirit of Scrooge's long-dead business partner and spectres of Christmases Past, Present, and Future appear before him on Christmas Eve. Bringing with them grim visions of the past and future, Scrooge is warned that if he does not change his ways, a terrible fate awaits him.
